About This Offer
The Thompson Fields was recorded in August 2014 and released
in June 2015. The following description was written prior to its launch.
All documentation described below continues to be made available to
everyone who purchases The Thompson Fields in any form. All you need to do is login
after your purchase. We had a lot of fun documenting the making of this
recording and hope you, too, will enjoy going behind the scenes into
the underbelly of making a record such as this.
As a Signed CD Participant, you will receive a signed CD of The Thompson Fields
by mail. Additionally, over the
months of making this recording, I will share extensive content with you
when you login on our site. We want you to be an integral part in the
making of this recording. There will be more than a CD’s worth of music,
so after the release, you will receive additional downloadable tracks.
In ArtistShare fashion, via video, you will experience rehearsals, the
recording session, and view interviews with musicians and our engineers.
I’ll be taking you into the world of mixing and mastering sessions.
Stepping into the physical world that inspired the title piece as well
as several other pieces on the record, I’ll take you on a walk at the
Thompson farm in Windom, Minnesota. It’s a place that without doubt
helped shape my creative voice. There will even be surprise content. It
will be my pleasure to share this collaboration with you. I’m surrounded
by absolutely remarkable musicians and people for this project, and it
will be a great joy to share their extraordinary talents with you.
