Also from Get Well Soon, this is the first piece in a four-part suite for the trumpeter, Till Brönner. I played this piece at a young People’s concert in Cologne in the fall of 1999 and Till was the soloist. It was my introduction to Till and he blew me away – amazing player AND he swung!
