About This Offer
"Music for String Quartet and Orchestra" is monumental, four movement work
written in the early 2000s for the Netherlands-based Metropole Orchestra. It
was written to feature their resident string quartet, the Gustav Klimt
String Quartet, and was recorded by Bob, the Metropole, and the Kilmt
Quartet in 2003 for the Challenge label. We are very happy to have this
study score offer available. The music was a long time in the making and it
nice to finally have it available to you.
This offer includes computer-generated scores as well as copies of Bob's
original manuscript. This is the first time ever that a facsimile score of
Bob's manuscript has ever been available for sale, and it only seems fitting
that it would be with this monumental piece of music. This offer is a
DOWNLOAD offer. After purchase, you will have access to an exclusive
download for all four movements to "Music for String Quartet and Orchestra."
The four movements included are: "Fanfares and Folk Song," "American
Beauty," "A Frolic and A Tune," and "Wood Dance." It's close to 200 pages of
music in all.
Immediately after purchase, you will find (after logging into your account)
an audio show of Bob discussing the music as well as video of Bob conducting
the recording session of the first two movements.
Study Scores will be available as downloadable PDF files in your account
immediately after purchase.
