About This Offer "On the Way to the Sky," a six movement, 50 minute work, was written to feature Jim Hall with Mel Lewis and the WDR Big Band in Cologne, Germany in 1989. This work was one that Bob was quite proud of, and for many years was only really known by his students that he shared it with. It was always a dream of his to someday have the recording released for the world to hear, which thankfully came true in May 2017 when the WDR released this wonderful work on CD and digital platforms. We are happy to offer facsimiles of Bob's manuscript for all six study scores. The six titles included are: "Awakening," "Earth," "Fire," "Water," "Ascension," and "The Sky."
